Goose continued their Dripfield Summer Tour 9,000 above sea level with two nights at the Dillon Amphitheater in Dillon, Colo. on Tuesday and Wednesday. The two-night stand included plenty of tracks off of their latest album and tour namesake, as well as a second night full of covers – including the Grateful Dead’s “Mississippi Half-Step Uptown Toodeloo.” Goose kicked the first night off at the Dillon Amphitheater on Aug. 16 with “Bob Don” before jumping into “Time to Flee.” Next up was “Indian River” – a track off their first studio effort Moon Cabin. The band followed up with “SOS,” which segued into the fast and funky “(dawn),” which saw effortlessly fast playing from guitarist Rick Mitarotonda. Goose then brought out “The Labyrinth” before moving into a heavily jammed “Hot Tea” to close out the first set.
