Bob Weir joined Goose for a lengthy sit-in Sunday night at Dead & Company‘s Playing In The Sand event in Riviera Cancún, Mexico. Weir began the collaboration by dueting with Goose guitarist Rick Mitarotonda and then was joined by the full band for The Beatles and Otis Redding covers.
Yesterday, Dead & Company’s destination concert event Playing in the Sand, continued at Cancún, Mexico’s Moon Palace. Jan. 15 saw Connecticut-jamband Goose–Peter Anspach, Jeff Arevalo, Ben Atkind, Rick Mitarotonda and Trevor Weekz– take the stage and cut into originals and choice covers.
On Sunday night, Goose got in on the fiesta at Dead & Company destination event Playing In The Sand in Quintana Roo, Mexico with a two-set headlining show featuring an extended guest appearance by Bob Weir. To say that Goose entered 2023 as one of the hottest bands in the scene would be the understatement of this young year.

The rising indie jam squad from Connecticut, Goose, have yet again made a name for themselves as they embarked on their second ever New Years run in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 30, 2022 at the Andrew J Brady Center.

Over the weekend on Dec. 30 and 31, Goose descended upon Cincinnati’s Andrew J Brady Music Center for two evenings of silky New Year’s Eve celebrations.
Goose ended 2022, the band’s most successful year to date, with a New Year’s Eve show at the Andrew J Brady Music Center in Cincinnati, OH that was a monumental jam fest full of references to the future, love, and the dichotomy of darkness and light.
