Considering the band’s album Dripfield released this year quickly rose to the top of our personal ranks for album of the year, we’re not surprised in the slightest that it was just as great live. We’ve heard all the similar rumblings of “Goose is the next Phish”, etc., but honestly they’ve become a thing of their own. Even having the opportunity to speak with fellow festival goers prior to the show was a major standout in what made the show so great, they were as amped as we were. We celebrated a man’s 60th birthday that day and his 27th Goose show as he went absolutely nuts as they took the stage.
