After garnering some indie buzz thanks to Vampire Weekend, Goose are flying even higher this week, releasing a new, 16-track instrumental LP dubbed Ted Tapes 2021.
“We’re really excited about Ted Tapes,” guitarist Rick Mitarotonda said via press release. “It’s been freeing to put out these snapshots of the band in its rawest form, communicating without any performative expectations. It’s been great fun putting together this album of some of our favorite cuts from these quiet moments just improvising together.”
The 85-minute album was recorded by the band between April 2019 and December 2020, live at soundchecks and rehearsals across the U.S.
