Heading into the final week of the Dripfield Fall Tour, Goose took over the legendary Stubb’s in Austin last night for an ACL late-night performance that also sets the stage for the band’s two performances at the festival itself. I was lucky enough to be in attendance along with my parents and little brother, and we settled into a great spot right in front of the soundboard for the show. The tightly packed crowd was energetic from the first notes of the opening “Echo of a Rose” as the band grooved through a compact 11-minute version of the song.
