Jamband Goose is breaking out thanks to its indie sensibilities and willingness to look beyond its genre

Goose is having a moment.

The Connecticut-based band recently sold out two nights at  New York’s storied Radio City Music Hall, and the June 25 show featured sit-ins from indie iconoclast Father John Misty as well as jam band icon Phish’s Trey Anastasio.

Those guests encapsulate what Goose is going for: an indie-jamband hybrid. The style is fully in effect on the band’s brand-new album Dripfield, which dropped Friday, June 24. The day after, the quintet made its national TV debut on CBS Saturday Morning to play three songs from Dripfield.
