Goose shared pro-shot video of a 19-minute excursion on “Pancakes.” The footage comes from the Connecticut jam quintet’s second of two concerts at the Joy Theatre in New Orleans on October 7. Goose is set to premiere the entire show on Wendnesday.

“Pancakes” originates in keyboardist/guitarist Peter Anspach’s Great Blue catalog. Goose debuted “Pancakes” in San Diego on January 27 and the song immediately fell into heavy rotation, seeing action 16 times to date this year.

The NOLA “Pancakes” marked the 15th play and came sandwiched between “Into The Myst” and “Dr. Darkness.” The quintet split the jam into two vibey sections, each one brought to a boil by guitarist Rick Mitarotonda. The band left the song unfinished.
